Welcome to the Funeral Celebrant Day site – funeral celebrants, it’s your day!
FCD25 IS LOADING – THIS YEAR’S CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES MID-OCTOBER…
Whichever flavour of funeral celebrant you are (independent, humanist, or spiritual), wherever in the world you are based, this is your day and your chance to directly engage with your local community to communicate information about funerals – and promote your services – as you join with other celebrants nationally/internationally in raising awareness of our role.
You’re invited to schedule content across social platforms at noon local time on Funeral Celebrant Day using the year’s hashtags to increase our collective visibility (let’s get us trending!), and also to organise events within your area, either on or around the day, as works for you.
In 2025, Funeral Celebrant Day is on Friday 21st November. It runs every third Friday in November – so pop it in your recurring calendar!

THE BADGE

There’s no date, so you can wear it every year, and all November if you like: get spreading the word about your event on FCD.
It’s £5. That covers UK inland postage, and includes a contribution towards the costs of running this website and Coffin Club bits and bobs.

The aim is not to share it as is (no likes a cookie cutter funeral celebrant, right?), but for you to adapt the title, text and examples to suit, and include 2 or 3 images of your choice.
You may wish to collaborate with celebrants close by to ensure there is not duplication within your area, or issue a joint release.
